New Homeowner Orientation

Learn all about your new home HVAC system in our New Homeowner Orientation.

The Andy Lewis Heating & Air Conditioning team would like to welcome you to your new home! We know moving can be overwhelming so let us help you by making sure you know everything you need to know about your new HVAC system. During your HVAC homeowner orientation, an Andyman Team member will cover everything from helping you program your thermostat and showing you where your filters are located to explaining important warranty information regarding your system.

What We Cover In The New Homeowner Orientation

We encourage new homeowners to schedule an HVAC homeowner orientation within 30 days of their closing date. During that time, we will:

  • Explain warranty and maintenance requirements

  • Demonstrate how to set up and use your new thermostat

  • Discuss your system operation

  • Review airflow

  • Show you how to change the filters and explain how often that needs to be done

  • Answer any questions you may have

In addition, your friendly Andy Lewis comfort specialist will talk with you about our preventative maintenance program and tell you all the benefits of enrollment. Basically, this program involves us sending out a service technician twice each year—once in the cooling season, once in the heating season—to clean your system, inspect it thoroughly, and talk with you about any other maintenance issues we identify. The benefit? You can extend the life of your unit and keep your utility bills as low as possible!
